Australian shares are likely to consolidate gains in the coming week as investor confidence returns to embattled finance stocks, dealers said. For the week ending April 3 the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 gained 63.3 points, or 1.72 percent, to close at 3,735.6. "As the weeks go by more and more investor confidence is definitely coming in," said CMC Markets analyst Matt Lewis.
