NEW YORK (April 04, 2009): Cotton futures settled on Friday at an eight-week peak on steady investment fund buying as belief a gradual recovery in global economies buoyed sentiment which could boost values going into next week, brokers said. The key May cotton contract climbed 1.45 cents to end at 47.60 cents per lb, ranging from 45.85 to 47.69 cents.
