Hong Kong stocks trimmed losses to close easier on Friday, ending four straight sessions of gains, while China stocks rose and posted its best weekly gain in eight-and-a-half months on economic optimism. Hong Kong stocks fell as much as 1.38 percent to a session low of 22,240.86 on concerns over the pace of economic recovery and asset bubbles in the territory, before a late rally in Shanghai lifted sentiment, trimming losses.
