The senior deputy governor of Indonesia's central bank stood by Bank Indonesia's inflation target of 4-6 percent for 2010 saying it was "quite realistic", even though analysts consider the level to be too low. Bank Indonesia (BI) kept its key policy rate at a record low of 6.5 percent after its monthly policy meeting on Thursday, as expected, and signalled it was likely to leave them there if inflation plays out as forecast.
