Japan cabinet at loggerheads over fresh stimulus

Japan's coalition government was forced to delay a deal on an extra stimulus package on Friday, with one small party seeking more fiscal spending to keep the recovery in the world's second-largest economy on track. The government, in power for a little more than two months, is desperate to avoid a return to recession ahead of an upper house election expected in July.
