Latin America stocks fell to their lowest in 11 weeks on Friday and most currencies in the region slumped as investors moved to safer investments following a sweeping move to limit risk-taking at US banks. US President Barack Obama's proposals on Thursday to limit risk-taking by banks drove investors to buy the yen, a traditional safe-haven, while global stock markets fell for the second straight session, dragging major Latin American markets with them.
