Hong Kong, China stocks rebound

Shares rebounded in Hong Kong and China on Thursday as investors picked up Chinese banks after their recent sell-off, while China XD Electric became the first mainland stock in recent years to end its debut below its IPO price. The benchmark Hang Seng Index ended up 1.61 percent on Thursday, snapping a six-day losing streak and staging the biggest single-day percentage gain in more than three weeks.
