Malaysian shares closed 0.60 percent higher Tuesday helped by gains in finance and plantation stocks, dealers said. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index rose 7.60 points to 1,266.71 with a volume of 824.61 million shares worth 1.0 billion ringgit (294.94 million dollars). There were 310 gainers, 327 losers and 249 counters unchanged.
