Chile stocks slightly firmer
Chilean shares were slightly firmer in Friday afternoon trade as investors looked to local quarterly company earnings due out next week, while the peso closed weaker, traders said. The IPSA leading share index was 0.04 percent firmer at 2,681 points while the all-market IGPA index was 0.10 percent firmer at 12,783 points. Wall Street's Dow Jones industrial average, by comparison, rose 1.66 percent.
