Malaysian shares down 1.3 percent

Malaysian shares closed down 1.3 percent on Wednesday ahead of an expected announcement by premier Najib Razak of the countrys new cabinet, dealers said. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index dropped 11.97 points to 907.87 with 613.1 million shares traded worth 945.88 million ringgit (260.79 million dollars). There were 144 gainers, 352 losers and 178 traded unchanged.
