London await economic data, interest rate call
Positive British economic data could trigger further sharp gains for the stock market in London next week when the Bank of England also makes its latest monthly decision on interest rates. The FTSE 100 index of leading shares gained 130.82 points or 3.35 percent during the week to finish Friday at 4,029.67 points.
