Brazils stocks dropped sharply on Friday as investors sold off shares around the world on concern a rally this week as overdone. The Bovespa index of the Sao Paulo stock exchange fell 1.6 percent to 41,907.29 points, its first decline in three sessions. Market bellwethers Petrobras and Vale led the index lower as oil and metals prices dropped.
