Britains leading share index ended 1.4 percent lower on Wednesday tracking falls on Wall Street, dragged back by weak commodity issues and banks, with UK unemployment topping 2 million. At the close, the FTSE 100 index was 52.11 points lower at 3,804.99 extending Tuesdays decline after previously rising six sessions out of seven. The blue chip index had risen over 11 percent since falling to a six-year low last week.
