The Taiwan dollar rose for a second straight session to a 1-1/2 month closing high, boosted by the central banks decision to keep rates on hold and US dollar sales by exporters. The Taiwan dollar rose to an intraday high of T$33.718, but later pared some of those gains to end the session at T$33.779, its strongest close since February 6.
