Brazilian stocks edged lower on Friday as investors cashed in on gains in the previous session, while the currency edged lower. Sao Paulo's main stock index, the Bovespa dipped 0.24 percent to 45,909.10 points, tracking losses on Wall Street. "Investors are wanting to take some profits because (stocks) have risen a lot," said Luiz Roberto Monteiro at brokerage Souza Barros.
