Brazils stocks rose on Friday, led by state-run energy giant Petrobras and local steelmakers, while the national currency dipped on concerns a move by the US Federal Reserve to buy long-term bonds would stoke inflation. The Bovespa index of the Sao Paulo stock exchange rose 1.48 percent to 41,035.08 points, heading for a fourth day of gains as investors flocked to emerging market securities.
