Hong Kong shares rallied 3.4 percent to a 10-week high in heavy volumes on Tuesday, with HSBC leading the charge as it joined the rally in global bank stocks on the US governments latest plan to stabilise markets. Turnover surged, rising to an 11-week high of HK$63.9 billion as speculators piled into HSBC shares and its nil-paid rights that began trading in Hong Kong on Monday.
