Malaysian shares closed up 0.36 percent on Tuesday despite profit taking by retail investors, dealers said. The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index gained 3.21 points to close at 872.55 382.54 million shares traded worth 759.10 million ringgit (207.97 million dollars). There were 280 gainers, 179 losers and 176 traded unchanged.
